My name is Jeffry Dwight. I am a 53-year-old single man who has adopted two children from Ukraine.

Ukraine does not allow parents to select children prior to travelling to Ukraine, and does not provide referrals, medical information, or any information ahead of time, so it's impossible to know before going over there what child, if any, you will be able to adopt. It all depends on which children are available on the day you visit—you can't even guarantee the age or sex of the child. About the only thing you know for sure is that available, healthy children will be at least 14 months old.

For me, it worked out great. I had hoped to adopt a pair of siblings, and that's exactly what I got. They are the two most wonderful children in the world as far as I'm concerned. You can see pictures of them, me, friends and family, the dog, and more at the photo page.
